Bio
R. J. Kirchner founded Paradise Appraisals, LLC in 1997 and is the firm’s chief appraiser.
Prior to starting the Paradise Appraisals, LLC firm, R. J. was the managing partner of Royal Pacific Appraisals from 1994 to 1997 with offices in Kailua Kona, Island of Hawaii, and Makawao, Island of Maui.
R. J. moved to Hawaii in 1990 and was the chief appraiser of Sevco Appraisals with offices in Kailua Kona, Makawao, Honolulu, and Kapaa.
R. J. started his appraisal career in the Twin Cities of Minnesota in 1983. He served as a lobbyist for 8 appraisal organizations that sought to license real estate appraisers for the first time, and was a charter member of that State’s Appraisal Licensing Board appointed by the Commissioner of Commerce.
Prior to becoming an appraiser, R. J. attended the University of Wisconsin at River Falls with a major in Political Science.
